About the Mentor

Gowri Shankar K

Cinematographer and photography educator with 14+ years of teaching experience across India's leading film and media institutions — Loyola College, Mindscreen Film Institute, BOFTA, KAPA and DeSIFMA. Diploma in Film Technology from MGR Government Film & Television Institute, plus a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, which is where the unusually technical teaching approach comes from.
